Vattavada, Munnar's Organic Garden
Situated 2,700 meters above sea level, Vattavada is completely different from Munnar. Instead of tea plantations, you are greeted by rolling step-terraced vegetable and fruit farms. The climate here is cooler, misty, and heavily influenced by the border heights of Tamil Nadu. Experience a blended cultural hospitality, organic crops, and mountain treks.

How to Reach Vattavada
Vattavada is located roughly 44 km from Munnar town. The drive is exceptionally scenic, passing through Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, and Pampadum Shola National Park. Because roads can become extremely foggy and mist cuts visibility to under 5 meters, early morning or late night travel requires caution. Local 4x4 open-top jeeps can be hired from Munnar or Vattavada.
